This Splash Hub 28H is a limited edition product created to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the founding of PHIL WOOD, a company that has been producing high-quality parts that can be used safely for a lifetime since 1971.
The base is PRO TRACK. The flange is hollowed out and the bearings are made of Carbonyte, which is specialized for rotational performance. Unlike the regular line, the lock ring and washer are machined from aluminum and the bolts are titanium. In short, the special specification TRACK hub has been further specialized.
Approximately 150g lighter than a regular high flange track hub front and rear set.
The model sold to the public was a standard high flange track hub, but this was specially made to order as a PRO TRACK hub, limited to one in the world.
The hub shell is made from the highest quality American-made 6061 aluminum alloy, boasting the highest level of strength, rigidity, and durability.
